L'Hospitalet plans green transformation of Economic District

The municipality of L'Hospitalet is preparing a major transformation of its Economic District, an area south of Granvia that includes Plaza Europa, the Pedrosa industrial estate, and the Fira Gran Via. The new Master Plan aims to transition the sector from an asphalt-heavy industrial zone into a more integrated, green business district.

Key objectives include the addition of over 60,000 square meters of green space and an increase in permeable surfaces to improve rainwater management. The project, developed in collaboration with the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB), seeks to reorganize movement and connectivity to better integrate the district with the rest of the city and Barcelona.
