LHV Bank joins PRA and FCA Scale-up Unit

LHV Bank, a digital bank with offices in Leeds and Manchester, has joined the second cohort of the Scale-up Unit established by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The Scale-up Unit was launched in October 2025 as part of the UK Government’s Financial Services Growth and Competitiveness Strategy. It is designed to provide high-growth banks and building societies with dedicated regulatory engagement to facilitate sustainable and responsible scaling.

LHV Bank reported 2025 results including £1.1bn in customer deposits, £0.7bn in lending, and £5m profit after tax. The bank operates through three business areas: app-based retail current accounts, SME lending, and banking services that provide infrastructure for other fintechs and financial institutions.
