Li Auto executive denies rumors of massive used car inventory in Changzhou

An executive from Li Auto has issued a formal denial regarding viral social media claims that a parking lot in Changzhou contains tens of thousands of zero-kilometer used vehicles. The rumors suggested the company was inflating sales figures or misappropriating subsidies.

The executive clarified that the facility at Changzhou's Shenhu Lake is a designated parking area containing approximately 3,900 spaces. The vehicles parked on the periphery are exhibition and test-drive cars being returned after various events. These vehicles are being processed through standard second-hand disposal procedures, with only a few hundred such units currently on site. The company stated that claims of ten thousand vehicles and allegations of sales manipulation are false.
