Li Auto i6 production dip of 4,000 vehicles from headlamp supply glitch

On July 27, Li Auto product‑line head Li Xinyang announced that a brief disruption in front‑headlamp supply in mid‑July cut the output of the i6 electric SUV by about 4,000 units compared with the original plan. Production of the i6 resumed normal levels after the supply issue was resolved, and the company said it is working with suppliers to make up the lost output so that delivery schedules for customers remain unchanged.

The i6 recently celebrated the rollout of its 160,000th vehicle and has held the top spot among mid‑size SUV sales in China for several months. The model features a CATL‑supplied 87.3 kWh lithium‑iron‑phosphate battery, 800 V fast‑charging capability, and a range of up to 720 km (CLTC).
