Li's home run off pitcher Michael Wacha was the only score for the Tigers in the game. With this performance, Li has reached 60 hits this season, extending his own record for the most hits in a single season by a player born in Taiwan. He is also approaching the single-season home run record for Taiwanese players, currently held by Chang Yu-Cheng at nine.
