Li Jin-sheng donates 1.29 million TWD to Chiayi child welfare fund

Li Jin-sheng, Chairman of Jiaxing International Co., Ltd., has partnered with the China An Sui Tai Zi Charity Merit Association to donate 1.29 million TWD to support vulnerable children in Chiayi County. The donation is designated for the “Children and Youth Future Education and Development Account” poverty alleviation program to provide living assistance to families.

Li, who is originally from Shuishang Township, has a history of supporting his hometown. Since 2021, he has provided aid to disadvantaged families in Shuishang, and since 2022, he has expanded his support to the entire county's education development account. Over the past five years, his cumulative donations have reached 5.756 million TWD. He has also provided long-term support for disadvantaged students and the basketball teams at Shuishang Junior High School.

Chiayi County Magistrate Weng Chang-liang accepted the donation and presented a certificate of appreciation. He emphasized the importance of combining government and private sector efforts to reduce the limitations imposed by a child's birth environment. The county's education account program, which utilizes family savings and government matching funds, has received national recognition and an award at the Asia Pacific and Taiwan Sustainable Action Awards.
