Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc prepares for complex role in Chị chị em em 3

Vietnamese actress Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc is preparing for a significant role in the upcoming film “Chị chị em em 3”. Moving away from her previous portrayals of strong and proactive characters, she will play Thi Lieu, a character described as emotionally vulnerable and internally conflicted.

To prepare for the role, Lan Ngoc spent three months researching the character's life story. Director Nguyen Huu Hoang noted that the character's complexity, driven by personal emotions amidst complex relationships and traditional social norms, is expected to leave a strong impression on audiences. The film explores a web of emotions among five central characters, where individual pursuits for happiness often clash and cause pain to others.
