Li Peiling pursues legal action after domestic violence

Actress Li Peiling has announced her intention to pursue legal action against her ex-husband following an incident of domestic violence. Li reported the assault to police in Taichung, during which she experienced physical distress and hyperventilation due to the emotional weight of the situation.

Medical examinations revealed that Li suffered from a concussion and internal bleeding in her left middle ear. Due to the severity of her injuries and doctor's advice against flying, she was forced to cancel scheduled commercial performances in Fujian, China, and has suspended all acting and commercial work to focus on recovery.

Li has applied for a protection order and stated that she is determined to move forward with legal proceedings. In a social media post, she expressed a sense of rebirth, noting that she and her daughter are distancing themselves from negative influences to focus on healing and a fresh start.
