Liam Coen expects Brian Thomas Jr. to impact Jaguars offense

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen expressed confidence that wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. will be able to help the team make plays in their upcoming Week 8 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Thomas has struggled recently, recording no catches in the team’s final two games before their bye week. During the Week 6 loss to the Houston Texans, Thomas was benched for the entire second half and played a career-low 15 snaps. This performance followed a season where his production has declined significantly compared to his Pro Bowl rookie year.

Coen emphasized the team's commitment to supporting the receiver, stating, “We’re gonna continue to support him, throw our arm around him and continue to do what we gotta do to make plays on Sunday.” Despite recent struggles and speculation regarding his future with the team ahead of the trade deadline, Coen remains optimistic about Thomas's ability to contribute against the Colts.
