Liam Lawson scores points with eighth-place finish at Hungarian Grand Prix

New Zealand driver Liam Lawson finished eighth at the Hungarian Grand Prix, moving up to 43 points in the drivers' championship and taking a one‑point lead over Pierre Gasly. He started 11th, used a two‑stop tyre strategy and managed to overtake teammate Arvid Lindblad, who finished tenth, giving the Racing Bulls a double‑points haul.

The race was won by Lando Norris, with Max Verstappen and Kimi Antonelli completing the podium. Lawson highlighted the strong start and the team's strategic calls as key to the result and expressed optimism ahead of the next round in Zandvoort.
