Liam Lawson to perform in Austin and eyes Race of Champions

Formula 1 driver Liam Lawson is set to perform a live musical set in Austin on October 22, ahead of the United States Grand Prix. As part of the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) Garage Sessions at Inn Cahoots, the 24-year-old New Zealander will perform under the name ‘Liam Lawson & Friends’ alongside his brother Marcus and childhood friends.

Lawson, who uses music to unwind during the racing season, will feature a custom Taylor Guitars LL30 GS Mini Special Edition. The event is part of the Esses Bazaar and includes a lineup of country artists such as Jonny Capeci, Scoot Teasley, and Jess Farren.

Separately, Lawson has expressed interest in participating in the Race of Champions when the event is held in his home country of New Zealand in January. While his involvement in the Wellington event is not yet confirmed, he noted it would be a significant opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd.
