Isack Hadjar sidelined by wrist fracture at Dutch Grand Prix

Red Bull Racing driver Isack Hadjar has been forced to withdraw from the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort due to a fractured wrist sustained during a physical training session. Reports suggest the injury occurred while Hadjar was boxing. While Hadjar attended the paddock to support the team, he remains sidelined, with a potential return targeted for the Italian Grand Prix in Monza.

Liam Lawson has been called up to replace Hadjar in the Red Bull RB22. Lawson, who previously drove for the team in early 2025, showed strong initial form during the Zandvoort weekend, qualifying in eighth position, just 0.1 seconds behind teammate Max Verstappen. However, Lawson expressed frustration after being eliminated in the second stage of Sprint Qualifying (SQ2), finishing 11th.

The driver reshuffle has also impacted the sister team, Racing Bulls, where Yuki Tsunoda has stepped in to replace Lawson. Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer confirmed the decision was made following the assessment of Hadjar's injury, noting that the team followed established procedures to manage the sudden change in driver lineup.
