Liam Neeson thriller ‘The Mongoose’ features Shelby Super Snake

The upcoming action thriller ‘The Mongoose’, starring Liam Neeson, features a 2024 Shelby Super Snake S650 as a central ‘hero car’. The vehicle, which produces over 830 horsepower via a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 and a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger, is used by Neeson’s character, Ryan ‘Fang’ Flanagan, during a high-speed escape.

Director Mark Vanselow, making his feature directorial debut, has a long-standing professional relationship with Neeson. Vanselow has served as Neeson’s stunt double, coordinator, and second unit director on more than 30 films since they first worked together in 1998. The film is described as a high-speed pursuit story involving a falsely accused special forces veteran.

Marisa Tomei stars alongside Neeson, playing his ex-wife. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on October 30.
