Liam Payne's final hours detailed by escort witnesses

Former One Direction singer Liam Payne died after falling from the balcony of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires on 16 October 2024. Two women who worked as escorts – Aldana Serrano and Lucila Goitea – gave sworn statements describing the singer’s behavior in the hours before the fall.

The women said Payne hired them for $5,000, but when he could not pay in cash he offered his gold Rolex, which he then smashed, and repeatedly struck the hotel‑room television. They reported a chaotic, drug‑laden environment: champagne, whisky, and traces of cocaine, alcohol and the sedative Klonopin were found in his system, and they observed him handling foil that suggested crystal‑meth use.

After leaving the room around 4 p.m., Payne returned to the lobby, was escorted back to his room by staff, and fell from the third‑floor balcony about 67 minutes later. Argentine investigators have charged two hotel employees with supplying the drugs, while the case remains under investigation.
