Liam Payne investigation: 3,000 police documents released

Argentine police have released approximately 3,000 photos and documents detailing the final moments of former One Direction singer Liam Payne before his death on October 16, 2024. The records include CCTV footage of Payne at a hotel, where he was seen interacting with staff and two women identified by police as sex workers.

An autopsy revealed that Payne fell from a third-floor balcony after consuming alcohol and various drugs, including cocaine, crack, and ‘pink cocaine’—a mixture containing ketamine, MDMA, and methamphetamine.

While several individuals initially faced manslaughter charges, including hotel manager Gilda Martin, receptionist Esteban Grassi, and Payne’s friend Rogelio “Roger” Nores, those charges were dropped in February 2025. Currently, Braian Paiz and Ezequiel Pereyra remain under investigation and are awaiting trial for allegedly supplying drugs to the singer.
