Lian Li launches Edge Platinum V2 power supply series
Lian Li has launched its second-generation Edge Platinum V2 power supply units (PSUs), featuring an L-shaped design specifically optimized for dual-chamber computer cases. The series includes 1000W, 1200W, and 1350W models, all adhering to the ATX 3.1 standard.
The units utilize a specialized hub system to manage connectivity and monitoring. The Edge Hub V2, included with certain models, provides four USB 2.0 headers and six PWM fan channels, allowing users to monitor bandwidth via L-Connect 3 software to prevent signal drops in high-demand peripherals. The high-end 1350W version includes the Edge Hub ADV, which features NTC sensors for real-time temperature monitoring of GPU power cables and the hub itself, capable of sending email alerts via a 32-bit ARM microcontroller.
Technical specifications include Japanese capacitors, a 120mm fan with zero-RPM mode, and comprehensive protection circuits such as OCP, OVP, and OTP. The power supplies are available in black and white color schemes and come with a ten-year warranty.
