Liar Game anime announced to return for second season

A second season of the anime adaptation of Shinobu Kaitani’s manga, ‘Liar Game’, has been officially announced. The news followed the broadcast of the 26th and final episode of the first season in Japan.

To mark the announcement, character designer Kei Tsuchiya released a commemorative illustration featuring characters Nao Kanzaki, Shinichi Akiyama, Hitomi Miyahara, and Norihiko Yokoya. The animation is produced by studio Madhouse, with Yūzō Satō serving as chief director and Asami Kawano as director.

While a specific release window has not yet been confirmed, the production team and studio involvement are expected to continue. The first season aired over a six-month period, beginning in April.
