High-profile political figures are also participating in the upcoming local elections. Member of Parliament Simonas Gentvilas is running for Mayor of Vilnius, while Simonas Kairys is contesting the mayoral seat in Kaunas. Additionally, Viktoras Pranckietis will run for Kaunas district, and former MP Juozas Baublys is seeking the mayoralty of Varėna.
In Alytus, the party has unanimously selected Eglė Dumbliauskienė, the current chairperson of the Alytus branch, as its candidate. Dumbliauskienė, a computer programming graduate and mother of two, emphasized her ambition to foster economic opportunities and support for families to ensure young people remain in the region.
The party's candidate list for municipal councils will span 49 municipalities. Party leader Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen stated that the party's strength lies in candidates who are already active within their local communities and possess the trust of residents.
