Liberal Party candidates dispute electoral fund distribution

Internal disputes have emerged within the Liberal Party (PL) regarding the distribution of the Electoral Fund. In Paraná, candidates for proportional offices are expressing dissatisfaction, alleging that resources are being disproportionately concentrated on high-profile campaigns, such as Sérgio Moro’s bid for governor.

Candidates for the Federal Chamber and the State Legislative Assembly have raised concerns that the current allocation leaves them with insufficient funds to run effective campaigns. Some candidates, including Olímpio Araújo Junior, have publicly stated they intend to campaign without receiving funds from the Electoral Fund or private donations due to the lack of resources.
