Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou launch Janska Tramway modernization tender

The Transport Company of Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou has launched a tender to modernize the Janska Tramway line in Czechia. The project, which is supported by European Union funds, aims to upgrade both the infrastructure and rolling stock to improve reliability, capacity, and efficiency.

The estimated cost of the modernization project is approximately 289 million CZK (roughly $12 million USD). Once the project is implemented, the work is expected to take 11 months to complete. Interested contractors must submit their proposals by October 14, 2026.
