Liberec Region seeks six new managers for hospital board

The Liberec Region has launched a selection process to fill six management positions on the board of directors of Krajská nemocnice Liberec (KNL). The goal is to recruit experienced professionals to oversee the development of the region's largest healthcare group.

The positions include roles for medical affairs, economics, investments and trade, nursing care, operations, and holding management. Candidates are required to have at least ten years of professional experience and three years of managerial experience.

The new leadership is expected to take office on January 1, 2027. This selection process does not affect the current chairman of the board or the general director, Richard Lukáš, who will remain in his position. The regional government, as the majority shareholder, aims to ensure continuity during major projects, such as the construction of a new emergency medicine center, which represents a significant investment for the hospital.
