Liberec tunnel maintenance to cause traffic delays

A tunnel on the I/35 road in Liberec will undergo scheduled preventive maintenance and technological system inspections from October 9 to October 12. The work, performed by EUROVIA CZ for the Road and Motorway Directorate, will involve the complete closure of individual tubes to allow for cleaning, lighting maintenance, and diagnostic checks.

Traffic will be diverted to a 1+1 mode, with one lane available in each direction. The first phase will close the tube heading from Prague to Děčín from October 9 at 18:00 until October 10 at 16:00. The second phase will shift the closure to the tube heading from Děčín to Prague, starting October 10 at 16:00 and lasting until October 12 at 04:00. Drivers are advised to expect delays and congestion.
