Liberia’s Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Gbeme Horace-Kollie, has launched the Ministry’s 2026–2030 Five-Year Strategic Plan. The roadmap aims to strengthen institutional performance and improve service delivery for women, children, and vulnerable populations.

Minister Kollie stated that the plan focuses on creating a more responsive and inclusive social protection system. Key priorities include enhancing safeguarding systems for children, improving access to services for survivors, and developing robust data systems to address complex social challenges. The initiative involves collaboration with United Nations agencies, development partners, and civil society organizations to move from policy development toward practical solutions.
