Libero Consorzio di Trapani allocates €21 million to schools and roads

The Libero Consorzio di Trapani has decided to spend a €21 million administration surplus on priority projects in the province. President Salvatore Quinci announced that €10 million will be directed to the renovation of secondary schools – upgrading heating systems, gymnasiums and safety equipment – while €5 million will fund extraordinary maintenance of provincial roads. The remaining funds will support public heritage, security and natural reserves.

In a related political development, independent provincial councillor Salvatore Stuppia joined the governing project of the Consorzio, a move praised by Quinci as strengthening the council’s balance and reinforcing a collaborative administrative approach. The president highlighted that the council’s recent unanimous approvals of financial measures reflect a new era of cooperation aimed at revitalising the territory.
