Libertadores 2026 round of 16 match dates and venues announced

CONMEBOL released the complete calendar for the round of 16 of the 2026 Copa Libertadores. The first‑leg matches take place between 11 and 13 August 2026, with the return legs scheduled for 18 to 20 August. All dates, kickoff times (local Brasília time) and stadiums were disclosed.

Brazilian clubs are featured in five ties: Palmeiras host Cerro Porteño on 12 August at Allianz Parque and travel to Asunción for the second leg on 19 August; Corinthians meet Rosario Central, with the first leg on 13 August at Gigante de Arroyito and the return on 20 August at Neo Química Arena; Flamengo play Cruzeiro, first leg on 12 August at Mineirão and the second leg on 19 August at the Maracanã; Fluminense face Independiente Rivadavia, first leg on 11 August at the Maracanã and the return on 18 August in Mendoza; Mirassol versus LDU have a first leg on 13 August (venue to be confirmed) and a return on 20 August in Quito. Other South American pairings include Tolima v Independiente del Valle, Universidad Católica v Estudiantes, and Coquimbo Unido v Platense. The competition will conclude with the final on 28 November 2026 at Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, Uruguay.
