Libertas Livorno 1947 begins 2026/27 season preparations

Libertas Livorno 1947 has officially commenced preparations for the 2026/27 Serie A2 season. The team held its first training session on Sunday, August 16, at the Maneo sports complex in Ardenza.

New players introduced during the gathering include Giovanni Vildera, David Reginald Cournooh, Filippo Gaeta, and Eduardo Sakine. Jayvon Graves is expected to join the squad in the coming days. Returning players include Matt Tiby, who was recognized as the foreign MVP of the previous season.

Coach Andrea Diana introduced Alex Latini as a new addition to the technical staff, who will work alongside Matteo Bonaccorsi. The session was attended by CEO Ferencz Bartocci and Councilor Gianfranco Morelli.
