Libertas Livorno and Itas Trentino announce organizational updates and season preparations

Libertas Livorno 1947 has announced organizational changes for the 2026/27 season. Lorenzo Soddu has been reconfirmed as Team Manager for the men's first team, following his previous experience with the club. Manuela Sgromo, a professional with over ten years of international experience in marketing and sports management, has been appointed Team Manager for the Ladies Libertas Livorno, which will compete in the Serie A1 women's basketball league.

In volleyball, Itas Trentino has officially begun its pre-season preparations at the Sanbàpolis facility in Trento. Under coach Alessandro Beltrami, the team is preparing for the upcoming Serie A2 women's championship. The squad includes a mix of returning players and new signings, though Slovenian opposite Polona Frelih is currently away on national team duties. The team is scheduled to participate in a joint training session against Valsabbina Millenium Brescia on August 28, ahead of their season debut on October 4.
