Liberty coach Jamey Chadwell targets Conference USA rebound

Liberty University football coach Jamey Chadwell is aiming for a rebound in Conference USA following a 4-8 season in 2025. Chadwell, who underwent surgery in January for a serious but treatable medical condition, expressed frustration with the previous year's performance, taking personal responsibility for the team's struggles.

The Flames are targeting a league championship to return to the success seen during Chadwell's first season in 2023, when the team went 13-1. The conference is currently undergoing changes, transitioning to a 10-team league as Louisiana Tech and UTEP depart for other conferences. Kennesaw State, the defending champion, will look to repeat its success.
