Liberty Health launches MedSeek AI assistant for Brazilian healthcare
Liberty Health, part of Brazil's Liberty Group, released MedSeek, an artificial‑intelligence assistant designed for doctors, medical students, clinics, hospitals and universities. The platform combines scientific articles, medical textbooks, the SUS Clinical Protocols and Therapeutic Guidelines (PCDTs), and international references, delivering answers with cited sources. It employs advanced language models, a retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) architecture, natural‑language processing and specialised agents to search, analyse and organise information within seconds. The system also offers image analysis, document translation, automatic question generation and context memory.
According to CEO José Carlos Vasconcellos, "MedSeek functions as a copilot, helping doctors and students locate scientific evidence quickly, organized and reliable, without replacing clinical judgment." About a thousand users have already signed up, and the Pro version is available free for a limited period. Recent surveys show AI tools are used in 18% of Brazilian health establishments, with generative models present in 76% of institutions, underscoring the sector’s growing interest in such technologies.
