Various collegiate athletic results across multiple sports

A series of collegiate athletic competitions took place across several disciplines, including football, soccer, field hockey, and volleyball.

In football, Lycoming College defeated Juniata College 42-7, led by Joe Lyons III’s two touchdown passes and Terrence Micah Oliver’s 96 rushing yards. In women’s soccer, Elon secured a 2-0 victory over William & Mary with late goals from a defender’s own goal and Lauren McCauley.

Field hockey saw Columbia University defeat Hofstra 2-1, driven by two fourth-quarter goals from Lizzie Adams, while Union College earned a 2-1 win against Rochester to stay in the postseason race. Conversely, the RIT men’s soccer team lost 2-0 to No. 4 St. Lawrence.

In volleyball, Siena University fell to Fairfield in a five-set match (3-2), despite holding a two-sets-to-one lead. Fairfield remains undefeated in conference play.
