Liberty Media and Liberty Latin America report Q2 2026 results

Liberty Media Corporation announced its second‑quarter 2026 financial results, noting a 38% drop in Formula 1 revenue to $764 million and a 61% decline in adjusted OIBDA to $139 million, driven by four fewer races. For the first half, revenue fell 15% to $1.381 billion and adjusted OIBDA fell 30% to $311 million. The company also disclosed schedule changes, moving the Bahrain Grand Prix to Malaysia, extending the Las Vegas Grand Prix through 2037, and renewing broadcast and partnership agreements with Pirelli, ServusTV, DAZN, Sky DACH and others. In MotoGP, Q2 revenue slipped 2% to $170 million while adjusted OIBDA rose 3%; six‑month revenue grew 6% to $264 million and adjusted OIBDA rose 10%, alongside a $114 million debt reduction and new multi‑year agreements with manufacturers, Malaysia and Silverstone.

Liberty Latin America Ltd. reported a strong Q2 2026, adding 45,000 postpaid and broadband customers and achieving year‑over‑year growth in operating income and adjusted OIBDA despite headwinds from Hurricane Melissa. The company distributed $500 million of preferred stock, declared a quarterly preferred dividend, and accelerated share repurchases exceeding $60 million. A new ten‑year strategic agreement with Amdocs is expected to generate more than $250 million in net present value, supporting cost efficiencies and capital‑return initiatives.
