Liberty, Missouri, drives industrial growth through incentives

Liberty, Missouri, is utilizing aggressive economic development strategies to drive industrial growth. The city has implemented tax incentives and established programs with defined criteria to attract private investment and create quality jobs.

Currently, projects totaling approximately $650 million are underway in the Kansas City suburb. These developments are expected to bring more than 6 million square feet of industrial space to the area and add over 4,000 jobs. Mayor Greg Canuteson noted that the city aims to provide certainty to businesses by offering straightforward processes rather than negotiating incentives from scratch for every project.
