Liberty Tire Recycling expands Gulf Coast footprint with three acquisitions

Liberty Tire Recycling, a Pittsburgh‑based portfolio company of I Squared Capital, announced the purchase of three firms in the Gulf Coast region: All American Tire Recycling in Fort Worth, Texas; Colt Tire Recycling in Scott, Louisiana; and the U.S. subsidiary of Denmark’s Genan A/S located in Sheldon, Texas. The deals increase Liberty’s rubber‑recycling capacity, broaden its tire‑collection network and add crumb‑rubber and micronized‑rubber production capabilities. CEO Thomas Womble said the acquisitions create the most comprehensive tire‑recycling network in the area and will enhance service for retailers, manufacturers and local governments.

Separately, D H Tire, Inc. launched an expanded commercial‑tire‑replacement service in Houston, Texas, aimed at supporting regional businesses that rely on fleet operations. The new offering includes on‑site replacements, preventive‑maintenance guidance and educational resources for fleet managers, seeking to reduce downtime and improve vehicle safety.
