Liborio Vidal, a politician and Morena aspirant for the Mérida mayoral candidacy, has addressed reports regarding his recent medical visit. While initial reports suggested he was hospitalized in Mérida for a cardiac procedure following a diagnosis of angina pectoris, Vidal clarified that the visit was merely a routine annual checkup.

Vidal stated he is in perfect health and is resting at home. He expressed gratitude for the messages of support from sympathizers and used the situation to encourage citizens to adopt healthy lifestyles and undergo regular preventive medical evaluations. He expects to resume his official activities this Friday.
