LibreOffice releases 26.2.6 maintenance update

The Document Foundation has released LibreOffice 26.2.6, the sixth maintenance update for the 26.2 branch. This release focuses on stability, bug fixes, and improved integration across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

A major highlight of this update is the enhanced integration for Linux users, specifically within the KDE/Plasma ecosystem. The update implements native Qt widget theming via weld, allowing the software to respect system themes more consistently across both Qt5 and Qt6 environments. It also addresses a bug where message dialog buttons would disappear when using KDE's native dialogs under Qt6 and KF6.

Additionally, the release includes six security patches sourced from Google's OSS-Fuzz program to address memory safety vulnerabilities. Other improvements include Skia rendering stability and various fixes accumulated throughout the 26.2 development cycle. While the update does not introduce new user-facing features, it aims to provide a more reliable and polished experience for enterprise and desktop users.
