Libres del Sur rally draws 500 leaders, denounces Milei government
More than 500 political and social leaders gathered at a Libres del Sur meeting in Argentina, where minister of Social Development Federico Masso and other speakers linked the historic independence of July 9, 1816 to today’s challenges. Speakers criticised President Javier Milei’s policies, accusing the national government of abandoning the people, especially workers, retirees, provinces, health and education.
Masso highlighted the alternative model pursued in Tucumán by Governor Osvaldo Jaldo, urging unity among popular sectors and proposing a development path focused on social protection and provincial interests.
