Licata hosts civic forum to discuss regional budget priorities

The Controcorrente movement, founded by Ismaele La Vardera, is hosting a civic initiative titled ‘La Finanziaria che vorrei’ (The Budget I Would Like) in Licata. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, from 10:00 to 12:00 in Piazza Progresso.

Local councilor Andrea Burgio announced that the goal is to gather concrete proposals and needs directly from the citizens of Licata to influence the upcoming regional budget. The movement aims to involve civil society in discussions regarding priority investments in sectors such as healthcare, disability services, employment, youth, agriculture, infrastructure, education, the environment, and tourism.
