Licata students participate in environmental and literacy initiative

Students from the Don Morinello Bilingual Institute will participate in 'U scrusciu du mari', an educational event held at Marianello beach in Licata on Wednesday, October 21. The interdisciplinary program aims to combine learning with environmental awareness and cultural discovery.

In collaboration with the WWF, the initiative includes activities focused on marine protection and beach cleaning to promote active citizenship and environmental responsibility. The event also features a literacy component through the 'In Vela di Lettura' initiative, part of the 'Chiavi di Lettura' project supported by Fondazione con il Sud and the Ministry of Culture's Center for Books and Reading. This segment uses shared reading sessions to encourage engagement with literature across different age groups.
