Liceo Classico Bernardino Telesio launches international program
The Liceo Classico Bernardino Telesio in Cosenza, Calabria, has officially launched a new International Classical Lyceum program. This initiative follows the officialization of the new Regional School Sizing Plan.
The new curriculum offers two primary linguistic paths: English, featuring Cambridge courses for IGCSE certifications, and French, which provides the opportunity to obtain the ESABAC dual Italian-French diploma. Instruction will involve native-speaking teachers not only for language classes but also for subjects such as History and Geography.
To enhance the global dimension of the studies, the program will include international mobility projects through Erasmus+, overseas internships, and twinning initiatives. School director Domenico De Luca stated that the program is the result of two years of didactic planning and aims to provide students with the tools to be active participants in a global academic context.
