LichtBlick eMobility acquires Mer Germany business division

LichtBlick eMobility GmbH has announced the acquisition of the business customer division of Mer Germany GmbH, subject to regulatory approval. The transition is expected to take place on October 1.

The acquisition expands LichtBlick eMobility’s portfolio by approximately 7,000 charging points across Germany. The deal includes an established customer base and an experienced team, which will continue to operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of LichtBlick eMobility. The Munich location will be maintained.

LichtBlick eMobility plans to invest more than 100 million euros in the coming years into fleet electrification, charging infrastructure, and transmission models. This move is intended to strengthen the company's position in the commercial charging infrastructure market by offering integrated digital energy and charging solutions for corporate vehicle fleets.
