Licia Colò addresses social media insults regarding her age

Television presenter Licia Colò will appear on the program Verissimo for an interview with Silvia Toffanin regarding recent social media criticism. The presenter addressed an influx of insults received over the summer following the promotion of an event in Sardinia.

Colò reported receiving comments attacking her age, suggesting she should retire, and criticizing her appearance. She responded by questioning why age is used as an insult and expressed happiness with her 64 years and her natural appearance, stating she is content to appear ‘acqua e sapone’ (plain/natural) on social media.
