Licores Don Pisto to host charity race for firefighters

Licores Don Pisto will host its second charity athletic race, ‘Rosarito corre con el corazón’ 5K, on Sunday, September 6, at 8:00 AM. The event will start and end at the Castillos branch on Boulevard Popotla.

All proceeds from the race will be donated to the local Fire Department and the Red Cross. Registration costs 300 pesos and includes a commemorative medal and hydration. The race features three categories: male, female, and wheelchair. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category.

Organizers noted that the event aims to continue the community-focused legacy of the company’s founder, Bernardo Pérez. Rodolfo Espinoza Mena, Director of Firefighters and Civil Protection, expressed gratitude for the support, noting that funds will assist in the acquisition of equipment for the department.
