Lidl and Aldi announce battery promotions and product recalls

Lidl has announced a promotion for Parkside and Parkside Performance batteries. Between September 7 and September 12, customers can purchase 12V and 20V batteries at a 30 percent discount using a coupon from the Lidl Plus app. The offer is primarily available through the retailer's online store, with a purchase limit of 10 units per order.

Separately, Aldi has issued a recall for its mini battery-operated fans due to potential defects. Some units may have damaged charging cables. The recall affects three color variants (white/black, dark grey/black, and beige/black) manufactured by AHG Wachsmuth & Krogmann mbH and supplied by GLOBALTRONICS GMBH & CO. KG. Customers can return the affected products to Aldi stores until October 4 for a refund, even without a receipt.
