Lidl and Shell launch fuel and EV charging discounts

Lidl has launched a promotional partnership with Shell, offering various discounts to Lidl Plus app subscribers in Germany. The campaign, running from August 31 to October 4, 2026, provides benefits for both electric vehicle (EV) drivers and traditional combustion engine users.

EV drivers can access the ‘Recharge e-Deal’ via the Shell app, which includes one month of free charging and a 25 percent discount code applicable to fast-charging stations. This benefit is capped at 400 kilowatt-hours per contract month.

For drivers of gasoline and diesel vehicles, the promotion offers a discount of three cents per liter at participating Shell stations. This discount is limited to a maximum of 70 liters per refueling session. To redeem these offers, customers must use the Lidl Plus app to activate vouchers or obtain codes for use at the pump or checkout.
