Lidl hires over 1,000 workers in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Lidl Bosnia and Herzegovina launched its largest recruitment drive, offering more than 1,000 new positions in logistics and retail ahead of the opening of new stores. The first wave, from 1 August to 6 September, invited applications for 125 warehouse staff at the company’s logistics centre in Lepenica. The second wave, running from 15 August to 30 September, opened applications for over 1,000 sales staff in more than 20 cities, including Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka and Zenica.

Faruk Kovač, head of Corporate Affairs at Lidl BiH, said the contests aim to build a stable, internationally backed team and provide transparent, fast selection and training for all hires. The company emphasised that no prior retail experience is required and that new employees will receive comprehensive training and be integrated as stores open.
