Lidl Cuts Prices on Frozen Food Range in Latvia

Lidl is lowering regular prices for a wide range of frozen products in Latvia as part of its long‑term price‑reduction initiative. Discounts of up to 42 % apply to items such as Harvest Basket potato bites, Freshona vegetable mixes, spinach, green beans, cauliflower, and Trattoria Alfredo frozen pizzas (Salami, Hawaii, Diavolo, Meat Lovers, Four‑Cheese). The price cuts follow a July price‑comparison study by market‑research firm SeeNext, which found that a basket of 28 everyday food items was cheapest at Lidl stores. The reductions continue a programme that began at the end of the previous year, gradually extending lower prices to new product groups, including fresh vegetables, dairy, bread, coffee and other long‑shelf‑life goods.
