Lidl Cyprus and Greece win Best Buy Award as No. 1 for quality‑price value

Lidl Cyprus was awarded the Best Buy Award 2026‑2027, marking its third time being recognised as the No 1 retailer for the best quality‑price ratio. The award, based on independent market research by the international organization ICERTIAS, highlighted the chain’s strengths in dairy, fresh eggs and bakery products.

Lidl Greece also received the Best Buy Award for 2026‑2027, its second consecutive year at the top of the quality‑price ranking. Consumers singled out its fresh bakery, clothing, dairy, eggs and bakery sections. Both subsidiaries cited CEO Militos Forozidis, who said the accolades confirm their ongoing commitment to offering high‑quality goods at the most affordable prices for households in Cyprus and Greece.

The recognitions underscore Lidl’s regional strategy of combining competitive pricing with quality across multiple product categories.
