Lidl France replaces president John Paul Scally with Marin Dokozic

Lidl France has announced that its president, John Paul Scally, will be replaced starting next week. The company did not disclose the specific reasons for Scally's departure, though it expressed gratitude for his contributions to the French subsidiary.

Marin Dokozic, the former president of Lidl Germany, is set to take over the leadership role. Dokozic is expected to continue implementing the existing strategy focused on growth and territorial expansion.

Lidl aims to increase its market share in France from approximately 8% to 10% by 2030. Scally had previously been tasked with restoring the retailer's image regarding competitive pricing following a period of high inflation and a recent shift toward premium positioning.
