Lidl Greece wins three DEI awards and earns national Diversity Mark certification

Lidl Greece received three prizes at the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards 2026, including two gold awards for its "Products of the Period for Women" initiative and its Unconscious Bias & Fighting Stereotypes training, and a silver award for Workplace Psychological Safety & Trust. The retailer also secured the "Σήμα Διαφορετικότητας" (Diversity Mark) from Greece’s Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, achieving the highest score among evaluated companies. Chief People Officer Sofia Ouzounidou said the recognitions validate the firm’s ongoing commitment to an inclusive workplace where every employee feels they belong.

In parallel, Lidl Greece launched a new "Equality in Action" video series that addresses age inclusion, caregiving needs, sexual orientation and racial discrimination, aiming to foster everyday dialogue on inclusion within the company.
