The offer arrives amid a sharp surge in air‑conditioner demand caused by an extreme heatwave that pushed temperatures above 40 °C in parts of Germany and Austria. In Austria’s Burgenland region, Haustechnik Güssing reports technicians are in continuous use and the local energy provider Burgenland Energie saw inquiries triple compared with a normal week.
